Professor Jacek Purchla awarded the "Gloria Artis" Gold Medal

We are happy to announce that prof. Jacek Purchla, founder and long-time directorof the ICC, was awarded the "Gloria Artis" Gold Medal. This prestigious distinction was honored by the attitude and long-term commitment of prof. I am looking to work to protect cultural heritage and preserve it for future generations.

Gala with the participation of prof. Piotr Gliński, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and National Heritage and prof. Magdalena Gawin, the General Conservator of Monuments, Deputy Minister of Culture - took place on November 23 at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw and was the main event as part of the ongoing celebration of the 100th anniversary of the conservation services. The ceremony was held under the National Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland and the patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
