Prof. Jacek Purchla decorated with a „Bene Merentibus” medal

During the annual Gala of the Association of Polish Architects, the "Bene Merentibus" Medals were awarded to people who were especially distinguished for the broadly understood Polish architecture.

One of this year's laureate was prof. Jacek Purchla, founder and long-time director of the International Cultural Centre in Krakow.

The SARP "Bene Merentibus" Medal was funded by the Polish Architects Association for contributions to the development of Polish Architecture and the Association of Architects, and can be honored by non-architects as well as institutions (associations, clubs, companies).
