Participants of the Young Professionals Forum visit Wieliczka

During the ceremony with the participation of representatives of OWHC in the Wieliczka Salt Mine, participants of the Young Professionals Forum presented a jointly prepared declaration, which was the result of several days of lectures, workshops and discussions. Every visitor is a local somewhere, therefore, make the world of locals worth visiting - yesterday appealed to gathered delegates of the 15th Congress of World Heritage Cities of OWHC.

During the visit in Wieliczka on Tuesday, they also met with Agnieszka Szczepaniak, vice-mayor of Wieliczka, with whom they talked about the opportunities and threats related to the use of the potential of places from the UNESCO World Heritage List. The young specialists also discussed with the director of the Cracow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka - Jan Godłowski, whether the development of tourism, the need to protect the cultural heritage and the needs of local communities can be reconciled.

On the last day, the event participants will visit two districts of Kraków: Nowa Huta and Podgórze.
