MCyKling - give your thigns a second life!

Take part in our competition inspired with the idea of upcycling, which is the creative modification of objects commonly considered waste that gives them a new, positive value. What is required? Creativity! Old cotton T-shirts can easily be turned into a rug or a bed for your cat, cans into decorative flowerpots, while europallets into furniture. Share your upcycling objects with us or take the challenge and make one especially for our competition. The most interesting projects will be awarded. To apply submit a picture of your project together with a short description of its technique and materials used for its making. Find inspiration on our Pinterst board.

REQUIREMENTS:

To participate in our competition submit the picture of your project together with a filled application form to a.alksnin@mck.krakow.pl by 10 March 2017. The work needs to embrace the idea of upcycling, that it, it has to be made from waste. The ICC reserves the right to verify and evaluate submitted entries in respect to their compliance with the competition theme. Works that do not meet the specified requirements will not be considered. All qualified pictures of works together with their descriptions provided in your submissions will be published at the ICC Facebook profile on 14 March 2017. From 14 to 20 March 2017 Facebook users will vote for the best entry. The work with the biggest amount of likes will be chosen as the competition winner. Author/authors of pictures of three works with the biggest amount of likes will receive prizes from the ICC, such as exhibition catalogues, entrance tickets to our exhibition, and gadgets.
