HOMEE Living Lab in Matera

The HOMEE project partners meet in Italian Matera, which holds the title of the European Capital of Culture 2019, to share the first research results on threats and opportunities that cultural heritage faced as a result of Expo 2015 in Milan, European Capitals of Culture in Wrocław (2016) and Pafos (2017) and UK Capital of Cultue 2017 in Hull.

During the two-day workshop attended by Matera 2017 stakeholders the following issues are discussed: participation in culture and engaging citizens in mega-events, heritage of mega-events as well as changes introduced by the events in the cities. The International Cultural Centre is represented Prof. Jacek Purchla and Dr. Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga.
