Free Art Day is a campaign started in 2011 with the aim of showing the public that museums can easily be visited unhurriedly and reflexively. Once a year, on a Saturday in April at noon, museums and galleries across Poland offer visitors a viewing of five selected objects. The chosen works are accompanied by a commentary by volunteers, who encourage visitors to talk about and reflect on the work. This year we invite people to an unhurried viewing of works at the exhibition Tempus fugit. On time and transience. During the event (between 12 noon and 1 p.m.) admission to the gallery is free.
