Dani Karavan – eminent contemporary sculptor of world renown, co creator of the new category of art called site specific – sculpture and landscape works created with a specific place in mind. One of the first works by Karavan of this type was the monument of the Negev brigade (1963–1968) built near Beersheva. He is also the author of such well known works as the monument Passages – a tribute to Walter Benjamin in the Spanish Portbou (1990–1994), the site commemorating the pogrom of Regensburg Jews (1997), Kikar Levana Square in Tel Aviv (1977–1988) or the Human Rights Path in Nuremberg (1989–1993).

Hagai Segev – Israeli art historian, independent curator and museum con-sultant. Author of numerous works on archaeology as well as contemporary art and architecture. He was the main curator in the Diaspora Museum in Tel Aviv and director of PeKA Gallery – experimental art and architecture Gallery at the Technion (Israeli Institute of Technology) in Haifa (2004–2008) and curator in the Museum of the Israeli Land in Ramat Aviv
