The European Cultural Heritage Summit in Berlin

2018-06-20
From June 20th to 23rd the ICC delegation consisting of our director, Agata Wasowska-Pawlik, Dr Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga and Prof Jacek Purchla will take part in the first European Cultural Heritage Summit in Berlin.

The motto of the event is “Sharing Heritage – Sharing Values”. The week-long event is one of the biggest and most important events of this kind dedicated to the question of heritage and is organized as a part of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage. The ICC will fulfill the role of the coordinator of this European project.

At the same time our vice-director of operations, Lukasz Galusek, will be in Berlin. He took part in the History Picnic: Polish Stories in Berlin, which was organized by the Centre of Historical Research under the Polish Science Academy in Berlin (Zentrum für Historische Forschung Berlin der Polnischen Akademie der Wissenschaften). The event in question was connected with the end of the term of its creator and long-time director. Prof Robert Traba (a historian, a political science and culture specialist, and a social activist) is a friend of the ICC and a member of its Programme Council.
