On January 16 the International Cultural Centre will host a seminar for teachers and educators titled Heritage with class. Heritage education for school students. Its goal is to introduce teachers and educators to Krakow’s cultural institutions’ educational offer in heritage education.
The year 2018, the European Year of Cultural Heritage, can provide a great opportunity to participate in museum classes and discover the richness of heritage. Heritage is the vehicle of knowledge on history and culture, as well as a pretext to discuss difficult topics, civic society, and many other issues. Working with heritage allows students to develop their cultural competences, which are very important in contemporary reality.
The seminar will include lectures and workshops.
For an entire day participants will be able to gather information about the educational offers of a variety of cultural institutions that work in Krakow.
Participation in the seminar is free and open, but booking is required. Registration will be open from 20 December 2017 to 14 January 2018.
